You can't go wrong with this recipe. Ground beef and grass fed cheese work in unison together. One big beef patty Italian style. You can even incorporate chicken livers in your ground beef crust since organ meats offer many health benefits.

Ingredients:


Crust:
 2 pounds grass fed ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp basil
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 eggs
sea salt and pepper to taste




Topping


6 slices bacon, cut in pieces
1 cup fresh spinach
8-9 cremini mushrooms, sliced
red onion chopped
1 cup natural tomato sauce
grass fed cheddar cheese
any other toppings of your choice


1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees


2. In a bowl, mix the ground meat, ground livers, chopped onion, garlic, eggs, oregano, salt and pepper

3. Pat out evenly on a 16 inch pizza pan and bake for 10 minutes and remove the crust from the oven and pour out the juices.

4. In a frying pan cook the bacon over a medium heat for about 7 minutes and add the red onion, mushrooms, spinach and continue cooking until they are almost cooked.

5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the crust and spread all the toppings on top of the sauce.

6. Cover evenly with the cheese and sprinkle with the oregano.

7. Bake for additional 5 minutes for the cheese to melt and get slightly browned.
